Being a simple software in the web world helps with user adoption. However, it does backfire sometimes. “If it is simple then why should I pay for it? My uncle’s son can build a similar simple app. Something so simple might not be as powerful...”
There is a group of people that tend to put a premium and pay for complicated, complex and very feature-rich, bloated software.
